The guest bungalow of Villa Tidzi came about from a desire to share the unusual experience of living on our newly-acquired property in the Moroccan countryside. Having previously transformed an abandoned and rather plain Berber farmhouse into living quarters for ourselves, we then set about to create a separate pavilion where family, friends and guests could partake of the rare quality of life which endures in these bucolic surroundings.

Spacious and filled with light, infused with blissful silence and offering a highly personalized ambiance of yesteryear, the guest bungalow of Villa Tidzi is first and foremost a comforting environment to settle into while leaving the world behind. Books are on hand as well as an ample selection of cds, with plenty of firewood at the ready to set the fireplace all aglow, whether for extra ambiance or to chase away the chill.
The terrace adjoining the bungalow, shaded by its olive tree and bamboo, is a welcoming spot where one can lie back on a chaise longue or sway gently in a hammock to the sound of birdsong and donkeys braying . . . a book in hand or slowly sipping a glass of freshly-brewed mint tea.

As the hours while away and the sun begins to gently fade over the horizon, the rooftop of the bungalow is the perfect vantage point from which to watch the herds of sheep and goats returning home and the countryside fold in upon itself for another welcomed nightly rest. It is where you will most likely want to return , after your evening meal, to watch and be dazzled by the unforgettable spectacle of the star-studded North African sky above.
